My projects
Full time & FUll time review
Problem
Producers lacked a centralized template library, forcing them to recreate graphics for each episode and slowing down production time
Inconsistent typography and color palettes made the shows feel disconnected from The Athletic and The New York Times
process
Audited 50+ episodes to identify graphics used repeatedly but lacking templates
Created new templates for these recurring assets in Figma and Adobe Photoshop
Refreshed typography + color palettes to match The Athletic’s type system and brand identity
Designed static backgrounds, watermark guides, and vertical/horizontal motion graphics to support multiple formats
solution
Delivered a modernized style guide in Figma that unified both shows’ visual identities
Built a reusable template library across Photoshop and Figma, enabling faster, more consistent production
Produced high-fidelity mockups to demonstrate intended usage for producers and leadership
And more!
The Athletic FC Carousel Refresh
Created new carousel templates for TAFC to showcase breaking news, quotes, and stats in a scroll-friendly way.
TikTok Asset Library + Studio Help
Helped build a shared library of TikTok graphics with the HQ team and jumped in to assist with filming in the studio.
Sponsorship graphics
Designed watermarks and animated capstone cards for partners (T. Rowe Price, eBay, Modelo, Target, BoyleSports) using Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, collaborating with partnerships and cross-functional teams to align with brand standards.
ERG Logos
Designed internal logos for ERGs (Employee Resource Groups) using bold, inclusive colors and simple, symbolic shapes.
Thumbnail Design + Competitor Research
Gave thumbnails a fresh look across several shows (The Sports Gossip Show, No Free Lunch, Talk of the Devils) and looked into what our competitors are doing to help us stand out.
